Standards, ownership, culture
- Own end-to-end recruitment for Product Manager, Senior PM, Technical PM, and Product Lead roles.
- Proactively source high-quality Product Managers from Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, Uber, Atlassian, Adobe, Salesforce, and similar organizations.
- Build talent maps of relevant companies, teams, products, and candidate pools.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional networks, direct outreach, and alumni networks for sourcing.
- Assess candidates for product judgment, strategy, customer understanding, analytical ability, technical depth, and execution ownership.
- Distinguish between PMs who coordinate projects and those who genuinely own products, make decisions, and drive outcomes.
- Design structured screening criteria, interview scorecards, and improve evaluation consistency.
- Track the complete recruiting funnel: sourced, screened, interviewed, offered, accepted, time-to-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Build market intelligence around compensation, candidate availability, competitor hiring, and talent movement.
- Selectively recruit for Software Engineering, Quantitative Research, Data/AI/ML, Infrastructure, and Operations roles.
- Support HR operations: onboarding/offboarding, documentation, background verification, employee records, and leave administration.
- 5–10 years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience with substantial Product Manager hiring.
- Direct experience recruiting PMs for or from top-tier technology companies (Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, etc.).
- Deep understanding of how Product Managers are assessed at leading technology companies.
- Ability to independently source passive candidates rather than relying on inbound applications or agencies.
- Strong first-level screening ability: can distinguish genuine product ownership from title-only PMs.
- End-to-end hiring process management: sourcing through offer acceptance and closing.
- Experience recruiting for fintech, quantitative trading, HFT, or AI organizations.
- Familiarity with recruiting Quantitative Researchers, Data Engineers, or Infrastructure Engineers.
- Experience building recruiting processes from scratch at high-growth or early-stage companies.
This role is unlikely to be suitable if your experience has primarily been in:
- Generalist HR, payroll, and HR administration.
- Employee engagement without significant recruiting ownership.
- High-volume / bulk recruitment.
- Recruitment for predominantly non-technical roles.
- Staffing agency recruitment without direct exposure to high-quality product hiring.
- Software engineering recruitment with little or no Product Manager hiring experience.
- Primarily coordinating interviews rather than independently sourcing and assessing candidates.
Flat teams, clear ownership, evidence-based reviews.
Clear expectations, direct feedback, strong support.
Problems are solved systematically, not politically.
